Dantes is a French singer who is performing allover China. He participated to concert in more than 50 cities already.
Dantes is composing his music, writing his song and interpret them in Chinese. Last but not least, he is his own producer.
We are used to work together on his Music Video, with reasonable budget.
I wrote the script in a week, prepared the shoot another week, we shot it in 3 days and I spent 2 full weeks on edit.
Story is targeting Chinese market on an unusual way as this clip is full of symbolism which is not the trend in China. We are planing to shoot an interview of the singer explaining in Chinese the ideas behind the different scene and props., Colors (lively or liveless), Curtain (passage from one state to another one), frame (social duty), fire (energy from love), candles (spark of love, time passing and coldness or death when off)… Everything might finally make sens to local Chinese,
This 3mn40 clip was Shot in 3 short days (15 hours shooting total).
Team was reduced with 3 assistants and 1 producer.
I was directing, lighting and shooting.
